Pros-- each of them are good on some of those items
Cons- each of them are not the best on some of those items

the more out of line better they are on 1 of the items increases the chances they are not the best on another item

Will carriers even contract you without a submission?
What type of business are you looking to do?
Are you experienced?
You listed some decent companies...Baltimore life never heard of them
Each company has different strengths.
A company like One America has great asset based LTC.
With a bit more definition, somebody may be able to give you some valuable info.

As I review your list, the one common theme with each carrier you listed is they all have some type of LTC/Chronic Illness rider on their life insurance that is attractive, depending on the client situation.

Although Balt Life is B++, I know of one big hitter who won't consider anything else for that Life/LTC hybrid play, or for converting IRA money to Poor Man's Roth (or is it Backdoor Roth) to non-taxed using a 10-year SPIA.

I'm becoming more intrigued by PacLife on the annuity side and have had some detailed conversations with them over the past couple of weeks.

Please be aware that LOTS of IMOs have PacLife Promise term but that does not have the same conversion privilege as the PacLife career channel term.

Lastly, if you don't want to go through your IMO, call carriers directly and speak to the wholesaler or their internal for your region.
